Most theatre coverage is written for people who already love theatre. ShowCritic is written for everyone else — the person who's thinking about going, who doesn't know the difference between a play and a musical, who wants to know if it's actually worth the ticket price.
We give you a straight answer. That's the whole point.
Coverage: Theatre, musicals, dance — primarily Las Vegas, occasionally further afield when something is worth talking about.
What we won't do: Give five stars to everything to avoid controversy. Bury the lead in four paragraphs of historical context. Write for insiders instead of first-timers.
